MAITRE – Media Actions for International Training of Researchers
MAITRE is an European Union project funded under FP7, KBBE programme, aiming to give food and nutrition research a higher profile in Europe. MAITRE revolves around a cycle of training sessions held by journalists and media experts to a target group of 600 researchers involved in food research. The key element is for researchers to learn how to get their messages through the media, in a way that is understandable to the larger public.
Minerva is the MAITRE project coordinator and communication partner. In addition to the overall project management, MINERVA is implementing and assessing all the communication and dissemination activities within the project, in order to support and promote the media training organisation.
