AMIGAAssessing and Monitoring the Impacts of Genetically modified plants on Agro-ecosystems

AMIGA is an EU FP7 project, aiming to produce scientific data related to the possible environmental and economic impacts of the cultivation of GMPs that are relevant to European environments. The scientific activities consist of case studies of maize and potato, the two GM crops currently approved for cultivation in the EU, and surveys in non-GM agro-ecosystems.

MINERVA is the communication and dissemination work package leader (WP11) responsible for preparing and implementing the communication strategy. Tasks include: management of the communication activities; organisation of events, media campaigns and initiatives at the EU level; training modules and impact assessment. MINERVA also contributes to WP1 (Management Board).
