TOPIC

pesticides bannerWe are more and more concerned about food safety issues, especially considering the pesticides and their side effects on a long-term basis. But do we really know what is in our food and what kind of risks we are talking about?

Can peeling, washing and cooking protect us from pesticides? How can we avoid the “cocktail effect”? What are the pros and cons of conventional and organic farming? Are we also exposed to pesticides in the water we drink and in the air we breathe? What are the risks of consuming local products when traveling outside the EU?

These are just few of the curious questions to be answered at our next Brussels Science Apéro!

Have a drink, take a seat, share your ideas and have your questions answered!
