Brussels Science Apéro has been invited by Night on M.A.R.S., an initiative of BELSPO with workshops, debates and quizzes, to organise a special event on Science in crime investigation!
BRUSSELS SCIENCE APÉRO: Where Brussels meets the Scientists!
BSA invites you to discover science in an informal, fun, understandable way! At each event, one or more scientists talk about the theme of the night in everyday language. They explain how science is involved in our daily lives and how science influences everything we do! While enjoying your favourite drink and the company of your friends, you can ask the scientists anything you like. Bring an open and inquisitive mind and let science surprise you.
At 7.30 pm BSA presents: Science in crime investigation!
Have you ever wondered how much is true in the crime scene investigations seen on TV? Is the detective’s job really to solve the whole mystery? How does the evidence lead to the culprit? Police officers, investigation forces and experts from analysis laboratories will talk us through the different stages of an inquiry, using real life cases.
The event will be mainly in French.
